8 sessions Acupuncture helps with 20 years hearing loss

Paige Griffin, a patient at Great Wall Chinese Medicine (GWCM), was diagnosed with hearing loss at the age of seven, but has been dealing with struggles of hearing loss since she was an infant. She has undergone numerous surgeries with none of them having a significant impact on her hearing. Going forward, as a student and athlete, Paige’s life has been severely impacted.  Not being able to hear full sentences or even at all in loud settings has been very challenging to say the least. Her first time doing acupuncture was a very relaxing and peaceful experience which is different from the intimidating environment she was picturing before coming. After about 9 treatments her hearing began to improve tremendously, and can now hear more than she has ever heard in her entire life. At home she has had to lower the TV or radio volume because it was too loud.  Paige is also now able to hear others talk while in groups with loud background noise. Previous to treatments, she felt like there was a block in her ears that has now been lifted, allowing the noises around her to be fully heard. She loves the staff at GWCM and how uplifting and exciting the environment is for patients improvement and well being. Ultimately Paige recommends Acupuncture to others because of how much it has impacted her life. She can now hear more than ever before and her life has been improved tremendously.
